If you are looking for accommodation in a self-catering holiday cottage on the Isle of Tiree, you need look no further! :-) Cnoc A'Mhurain has a quiet open rural position, within a few hundred metres of Balephetrish Bay with views over the countryside to the sea, particularly from the upper floors. It is one mile from Loch Bhasapol and the active social scene at the Tiree Windsurfing Club.
The accommodation consists of a traditional Tiree house and attached cottage, both with separate entrances. There is a connecting door between the houses, which facilitates their use as one house. One is a beautifully modernised traditional cottage. Now with double height ceiling with large Velux windows (sea views!), a polished wooden floor and mezzanine bedroom, it still retains the original large open fireplace with a multi-fuel stove. It has a new fitted kitchen and shower room. It sleeps two and is bright and amazingly spacious.
The other is the 19th century Hebridean "one and a half storey" house. The accommodation comprises entrance porch, hall, lounge dining room, kitchen, utility room, 2 double bedrooms, (1 king-size), 2 twin bedrooms, one with bunkbeds.
